The war on all

I’m reading Keir Giles’ Russia’s War on Everybody and find it fascinating – in so many details it confirms what I learned from my own experience on the ‘front line’ from circa 2003 until 2014, and then again from 2014 to the present day. In my blog A Step At A Time I tried to pass on some of what I learned. Not being a product of the ‘politics and social studies’ branch of higher education, but rather making my way as a postgraduate Russianist with a background in philosophical and literary studies, I sometimes found it hard to communicate my knowledge, and this is probably reflected in the uneven presentation of the material. However, the blog is still there for anyone who cares to explore it, and some of the posts, like the above-mentioned Finlandization review, are possibly still topical. I’m going to continue my reading of Keir Giles’ new book.
